The government has therefore taken steps to expand the support mechanism for agricultural diesel.

Additionally, new supports are being prepared for the freight transportation sector.

One aim is to limit the cascading of high fuel costs to other sectors of the economy.

At this stage, a general and single-rate price increase has not been announced in the markets.

The risk is rather the reflection of costs in the supply chain at different rates on different products over time.
