Four people were injured in a knife attack in the middle of the street in the Sacavém neighborhood of Loures at midnight. Unfortunately, three of the injured are in serious condition.

The incident took place around midnight on Rua Pêro Escobar, one of the well-known spots in Sacavém. According to eyewitnesses and PSP (Polícia de Segurança Pública) sources, everything started with a verbal argument in a nearby cafe. When the tension that flared up in the cafe spilled onto the street, a person whose identity has not yet been fully disclosed grabbed a knife and attacked the people he was arguing with.

The Injured Were Transferred to Different Hospitals

The teams arrived at the scene immediately after the attack and quickly transported the injured to surrounding hospitals. Due to the seriousness of the situation, the injured were not distributed to a single center but to different hospitals in the region:

Santa Maria Hospital

São Francisco Xavier Hospital

Beatriz Ângelo Hospital (Loures)

While it is stated that the three injured people are in life-threatening condition, the knife used in the crime has not been found yet.

The attacker is on the run, the file is in the Judicial Police

The person who carried out the attack was identified by eyewitnesses, but he managed to escape from the scene. Security forces are continuing large-scale search efforts to capture the fugitive suspect.

Due to the magnitude of the incident and the presence of seriously injured people, the file was transferred directly to the Judicial Police (Polícia Judiciária).
