Settlement and registration are not the same thing

Being placed in a higher education program does not mean that the registration process is automatically completed.

Students must register in accordance with the period and procedures announced by the institution to which they are accepted.

It is especially important that students accepted in the third placement stage do not miss the announced registration calendar.

What rules apply to foreign students?

In the higher education system in Portugal, the national placement process and the application channels of international students may not be the same.

For this reason, foreign students should not directly apply the announced total placement number to their own application categories.

Registration requirements, tuition fees and required documents depend on the student's status and the institution to which he/she is accepted. may change.

What students should check

Placed students must verify the registration deadline, required identity and education documents, tuition fee payment conditions, and student support applications, if any, through the official channels of the relevant university.

Accommodation and transportation planning also becomes important during the registration process, especially for students who will study outside the city.
