InterNations Expat Insider Quality of Life Index, which takes the pulse of foreign employees and resident foreigners around the world, has been announced. Portugal ranked among the top 10 destinations in the world among the 46 countries evaluated. For comparison's sake, the UK remained at 38th place in the same list.

This research, in which more than 10 thousand people from 172 different nationalities participated; It examines five main topics that directly affect life, from security to health, from climate to daily pace of life.

Searching for a New Life, Not Just a Holiday Destination
The intense interest from many parts of Europe, especially England and Ireland, stems from this balance. Christina Hippisley, General Manager of the Portugal United Kingdom Chamber of Commerce, said that people are no longer just looking for a summer house or a holiday destination, "Where would I feel safer, in what kind of environment would I live with my family, how would I spend my days more peacefully?" He states that they are looking for answers to basic questions such as. Portugal more than meets this expectation with the daily prosperity it offers.
