Michelin Star Chefs and Solar Eclipse Meet at the Same Table

The summer season in the Algarve is usually associated with beaches and seaside restaurants, but this time a completely different, upside-down event is at the door. On the evening of August 12, Viceroy at Ombria Algarve is getting ready for a very strange night: While there is a solar eclipse in the sky, the best of the country will meet in the same kitchen.

Open Air Gastronomy Feast

Between 18:00 and 22:00, the hotel's main square will literally turn into a culinary area. Forget classic sit-down dinners; A comfortable atmosphere is created here where we can wander among the live cooking stations and experience the special plates prepared by the chefs.

The entrance fee of €150 per person for the event includes 15 coupons to be used for tastings in the market area, live entertainment and certified special glasses to watch the eclipse safely. For those who want to go beyond the classic experience, rooftop sessions are also considered for an additional €50.
