Wind hit flights again at Madeira Airport: More than 60 flights were canceled

Strong winds again seriously affected air traffic at Madeira International Airport. According to RTP Madeira's update on the morning of September 24, a total of more than 60 flights were canceled for arrivals and departures.

RTP Madeira reported that more than 60 flights in total, both arrivals and departures, were canceled as of 10:53.

While some planes were diverted to alternative airports in Porto Santo, Lisboa or the Canary Islands, many flights were delayed or cancelled.
