Christmas Excitement Begins in Ferragudo: Its streets are illuminated..

Ferragudo is one of the places where the unique warmth of the Algarve can be felt best. When the weather starts to cool down, a sweet rush begins; The tradition is not broken this year either. The countdown has officially begun for the Christmas Festival, which will make the village square sparkle.

Friends in Business Algarve, the driving force behind the festival, is organizing a nice meeting on Tuesday, November 10, to bring together both local tradesmen and those of us who live here. The aim is not just to announce the festival; To revive the spirit of the village together.

We are meeting at Quinta Heights on November 10

The meeting point is Quinta Heights, which rises right next to Quinta da Boa Nova in the Sesmarias region. This evening, which will start at 17:00, will be in a warm atmosphere of neighborhood solidarity, far from official and boring meetings.

Participation fee per person is 12.50 €; The price includes welcome drinks and snacks. The best part is that all the income collected from this evening will go directly to the budget of Christmas celebrations in the village.

What Events Await Us This Year?

The process, which will begin with this night of solidarity, will reach its peak with two major events in November and December:

Sunday, November 29: On the closing day of the Ferragudo Christmas Market, the giant Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held in the village square.

Saturday, December 19: The big Ferragudo Christmas Festival that children are eagerly awaiting will last all day.

The Friends in Business Algarve team has come up with a very sweet idea this year: "Choose a Christmas Moment to Support".

You don't need to be a big-budget sponsor. Whether you undertake hot chocolates to be distributed to children, decorations, gifts from Santa Claus or coffees to be served to volunteers running around the area... Everyone, no matter how small or big, can sponsor a detail according to their budget or means.
