Blow to Theft Network in Albufeira Nightlife: 29 Stolen Phones Seized

An operation was carried out against the pickpocketing network that was targeting holidaymakers and entertaining crowds coming out of nightclubs in Albufeira. Four suspects who took advantage of the nightlife and stole wallets and phones were detained. Taking action within the scope of an ongoing investigation, the teams caught the suspects, aged between 40 and 47, while they were traveling on the IP2 route in the Beja region. 29 mobile phones and many wallets were seized during the searches belonging to the network, which was determined to have stolen with sleight of hand, especially by taking advantage of the chaos at the exits of the venue. The police made a call for the seized devices and items to be returned to their owners as soon as possible.
