Lawyers have access to a private room for client meetings at an AIMA office in Lisbon.

The wheels of AIMA in Lisbon seem to be finally shifting to a more humane side. A separate room is allocated for lawyers in the AIMA office for client meetings. AIMA, the Bar Association and the Lawyers Association shook hands with the protocol signed. The goal is very clear: To open doors to nearly 80 lawyers/professionals a day and to ensure that each of them provides consultancy on a maximum of three different files. When we think about the endless chaos and hours of uncertainty experienced at AIMA doors or appointment systems, even the ability of professionals to sit with their clients at a proper table, in a private room, is a serious breath of fresh air in the field. We will see over time how much things will speed up or whether it will actually ease the bureaucracy, but at least a more organized step has been taken on behalf of lawyers and clients.
